#20. As Long as You’re Sitting
In keeping with the tradition established by my kegel coach, stability ball, foot flex and long, cool drink of water posts, I am continuing to help you recover you health postpartum while expending as little energy as possible (your energy).
What I am enjoying about this series is that all the actions are just as beneficial to adoptive and step mothers as they are to biological mothers.
So, As long as you’re sitting there…
Why not try this relaxation technique?
1. Sit up straight, palms flat your thighs.
2. Take a deep breath in and exhale slooooowly.
3. Lift your palms, place them together and rub them back and forth very quickly until you feel the friction generate some heat.
4. Immediately place one palm over each eye and enjoy the nice, warm darkness.
5. Remove palms from eyes and place them flat on thighs. Deep breat in. Slowly exhale.
We now return you to your normal stresses.

Babylune - The Great Water Bottle Purge

[…] Right. We’re weaning. Well, it is my intention to wean and the baby’s intention not to let it happen. What I am winning is the battle against water bottles. Like most nursing mothers, I am prone to sudden dehydration. I keep water bottles next to my usual nursing spots. That is, I try to keep water everywhere and often forget all about it. As a result, I have found abandoned water bottles under the bed, under every chair, under the couch, tucked behind the curtain fall on window sills and under the seats of the car. Rooting them out, so far, has been a lot easier than weaning. Technorati Tags: breastfeeding and water, water and nursing, weaning […]
