The Eleventh Healthy & Fit Family Carnival

The First of May is Labour/Labor day in Europe. It’s a chance for unions to parade, families to relax and outdoor swimming pools to open. Not that I am going near the cold, cold water in our local park. No, I have other ideas for how our family is going to splash around in warm […]

Mothers’ Day Gift Ideas for Brand New Mothers

There’s only one problem with baby showers. Too many of the gifts are for the baby. Below are some of the gifts I buy for new mothers.

A Whole Book!

What do you know! I think blogging is making me too terse as a writer. Blog posts work best when they’re short and snappy.
I thought, when I wrote the Down There Omnibus, I knew everything there was to know about postpartum hemorrhoids. Nope. Other people manage to write entire books on the subject.

Mothers’ Day: It’s Not All About Altruism

I may have given you the wrong impression about me. Sure, I am trying to give money to a good cause for Mothers’ Day, but I am not all about altruism. Considering that my birthday is in about two weeks and Mothers’ Day is in three, I thought I had better update my Amazon Wish […]

Results of Your Experiments

As you may know, I have a history of experimenting on myself. You will also know that I hate using disposable diapers…just not enough to use cloth instead.
Since, this time an experiment could be messy, I thought I would try to benefit from your experience. You know the inserts that go inside cloth diapers […]
