Consumers Don’t want Birth Control Patch

IMG: Used with permission from NEWSCOM.
An advocacy group is trying to get the J&J birth control patch banned. Why? The patch is supposedly increasing women’s risk to get blood clots and they’ve formed a petition. Would you sign in?

10-year-old Gives Birth

This made me so mad just seeing the headlines, but it gets worse as these weren’t parents that just let their daughter roam free and she got “knocked up” as many would put it. But this 10-year-old was the victim of rape by 37-year-old  Guadalupe Gutierrez-Juarez, who thankfully is in prison.
She gave birth to a […]

Passing Out at Birth

Okay ladies and gentleman I want to know how many of you had someone in the delivery room when you were in labor that actually passed out? This is the one thing that I never had to go through, thank goodness.
Believe it or not men and women all over have experienced this, not just your […]

A Month-long Mother’s Day

Gearing up for Mother’s Day? Well, Boston Market thinks that Mother’s Day shouldn’t be just a day, or even a weekend but a month-long celebration. Hey, can I really blame them? I totally love the idea of being pampered for an entire month. Don’t you?

Your 1st Birth Story

Everyone has a different birth story, I’d love to hear your 1st birth story. You know we all read books and try preparing for that first birth. Sometimes the birth plan goes just like it is written, but sometimes it doesn’t, heck sometimes even the back-up plan doesn’t go so well.
For myself, I was […]

Teen Delivers own Baby and Jogs to Hospital

I’m sure by now you’ve heard about the California Teen that gave birth in her shower. If you haven’t, the 17-year-old teen hid the fact that she was pregnant from her parents because she was afraid they’d kick her out. Which also meant she never went to get checked out and when the time came […]

Stroller Strides

Many new moms are wanting to “lose” the baby weight they gained while pregnant and just haven’t been able to shake off just yet. It seems there is a new fitness program for some of us. It is called, “Stroller Strides” and it’s just like it sounds.

America’s Funniest Baby at the mall

I just saw one of those old episodes of “America’s Funniest Videos” and decided to look up what they had at YouTube.  Have you ever wondered about that baby crying at the mall? You know the one that no one seems to be around for and you probably think either someone has abandoned him/her or […]

Baby Left In Car

Police have arrested a couple after discovering they’d actually left their newborn baby, 9-weeks-old, in their vehicle while they went to watch the Kentucky Derby.
This angers me more than I can even write it out. These parents were lucky that nothing happened to their infant. There is just no excuse for this, if they didn’t […]
