Bloggy Giveaway: Shutterfly Designer Cards
This is Babylune’s Bloggy Giveaway #4. If you’ve missed any I’ll have a post soon with all of them up. I was going to wait but figured some of you may want a few extra day to sign up for all those giveaways.
When you become a parent you want to capture all those favorite moments on film and freeze them for all time. My favorite thing to do is get pictures developed and look through them before I get in the car. Ever feel like that? Well, Shutterfly is wanting to help you with this. Shutterfly is sponsoring us and giving 12 Shutterfly Designer Cards to one lucky reader. Imagine your child being born and being able to make up your own birth announcement with everything on it and not just one but two shots of your darling. Plus you’ll have all the stats on the page. I just love the Doggie Announcement one.

Rules: Rules are simple, take a second to think back of a favorite memory you captured on camera and tell about it. Which Designer card would you get?

What a great giveaway! I like the regular “Thank You” the best. Let’s see, a favorite memory I have captured on film would be my spring break trip from a few months ago, of my boyfriend and I relaxing on the beach! Seeing the pictures takes me back!

I love to look at a video that my husband took of our daughter when she was 1 week old. She looks so tiny in her bouncy seat and she just sits there and squeaks. It’s so cute! A moment that I wish I would have taken a picture of would have been when my daughter tipped over the trash can and was playing with/eating the frosting off her (1 yr) birthday cupcakes with her doll. That’s when we put the trash can under the sink.
I like the pink sheep thank you. But there are lots of cute designer cards!

I am 8 months pregnant and would LOVE this as a free way to send cute baby announcements! I would go with something like the “Girl Scallop Announcement” under Simply Put Designer Cards, but I’d definitely enjoy experimenting with lots of them! My favorite memories I’ve captured on film are a progression of this pregnancy–I take a picture each month wearing the same shirt, so you can see how big I’m growing over time. I’m excited to print them up for the baby book.

We have had many people praying for our little preemie Tristan since he was born last April and he just turned 1 and the thank you cards would be wonderful to share with those people. My favorite picture captured is tristan looking to the side while I’m kissing him, its so precious.

I lost my 16 year old son a year and a half ago. A few months prior, he and my daughter who was 2 1/2 were caught dancing with her in his arms on film. His eyes are closed and you can see the love for his baby sister. That is what I want her to remember and that would be the card I designed.

I love to take pics of family/friends/events. One pic that really stands out is of my son with a very small fish in his hand. The pic had perfect lighting and the awe on the look of my son’s face was priceless.

There is one photo from my weddding that I love in particular. It wasn’t posed, but it caught my husband and I in a beautiful and fun moment of kissing and then dipping like in the old movies.
I’d love some of the basic thank-you cards. I never have enough.
Shutterfly is a fun website! They help me be creative.

My favorite memory on film is the day my husband,my stepdaughter and I were raking up the leaves and we started to play in them. I caught the perfect picture of my stepdaughter throwing a bunch of leaves up in the air. They look like they are floating all around her. It was magic.

My favorite pictures are of when I took my son, who was 18-months-old at the time, back to China to meet my former collegues and friends. I have dozens of pictures of him being passed around to different smiling strangers of all ages.

My youngest son had been sick for a month or more with various complications from a bacterial stomach infection. It was Christmas Day and he wasn’t interested in opening presents. Until we opened a small stuffed bear. It was the first time he smiled in a month. It was a small smile, but I got the picture right in time.

My favorite moment captured on camera would have to be when my husband and I traveled to Europe. We fell in love with Budapest and took some amazing photos there. It was a special time for us to be together on an exciting adventure. It was an experience that I will treasure forever.

This would be great. My brother and I are planning my parent’s 25th anniversary so these would be awesome with their wedding photo on the front. My favorite moment that I captured on film was when my mom and I went to the Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival last year.

My favorite picture was taken minutes after my husband’s one and only attempt at diapering. There stood my daughter in a diaper that stuck out six inches from her belly (he lined up the corner edges of the diaper instead of making it fit) and her only other attire was a pair of cowboy boots.
I would like the designer Thank You cards, but I’m not sure of the design until we find out if they will be used for a boy or a girl.
