Cadaver Dogs Search for Caylee Anthony
As many of you know, Casey Anthony, has finally been named a suspect in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Police have already stated they believe she is dead and that it was her body in the trunk of her mother’s car, as for the chloroform, there’s no telling but several of us have our own ideas.
Currently there are some cadaver dogs sweeping two different wooded areas where people saw someone suspicious hanging around right after little Caylee’s disappearance. One area is really close to her grandparents house, near Amscot and Highway 50. From my understandings it is right by the off-ramp there. This is the same location her car was dumped. Could she have buried her daughter there? If so did she actually get a bit of guilt and couldn’t drive no more? Or was it all a set up?
The other location is near the Orlando International Airport, where her car was spotted in the median for a few days. Someone spotted a small figure wearing athletic gear and a baseball cap walking towards the woods.
Both wooded areas they’re searching are not far from where Casey Anthony lives with her parents. One is near the Amscot at Goldenrod and Highway 50 where Casey abandoned her car in late June. Investigators have searched the area more than once with cadaver dogs.
The other area is closer to Orlando International Airport, where a driver told investigators she saw a car like Casey’s white Pontiac Sunfire parked in the median days after Caylee disappeared and she saw someone slight of build wearing a baseball cap and what looked like athletic wear walk out of the woods, someone she believes could have been Casey. It was odd to her because it’s not a popular spot for joggers.
As for what she’s actually stating to the press, well she isn’t, but her attorney assures everyone, “It’s not in her best interest to tell what she knows about where Caylee is.” Hmm, could be because she killed her and knows she’ll fry for it.
Now one of the officers on the case claims she is “one of the toughest he’s ever come in contact with.” Does this mean she’s that good? Or that she just has no guilt? By that I don’t mean she’s innocent but doesn’t believe she’s done wrong because it was what she wanted.
“I’ve had some very experienced people working on this case and Sgt. John Allen is one of those,” Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said. “Sgt. Allen said that’s one of the toughest individuals he’s ever come in contact with when it comes to attitude and as you called the poker face.”
“In your heart, do you believe (Caylee) is gone — she is dead?” Local 6’s Mike Holfeld said.
“Well, my dad-instinct says you never want to give up,” Beary said. “But the way the evidence is looking, that’s probably what’s going to be down the road.”
“She’s gone?” Holfeld said.
“She’s gone,” Beary said. “Every day that passes, everything in your gut instinct tells you we’re not going to find that child — at least not alive.”
I really wish we’d find out one way or the other. This is definitely now one very loved little girl, the world does love her and want her to be found.
