Part Five: The Generous December Group Writing Project (Updated)
After a slow weekend, the Generous December Group Writing Project is picking up steam again with three six new stories and reasons to give.
Mama Zen re-told the story of her own miracle and asks us to support dignity, human rights and quality of life for everyone.
Stacey of Frog Parenting, has a special story to share in support of the Children’s Miracle Network.
Peace is Every Step tells us the story of one good deed leading to another. She asks us to search out the domestic violence advocacy groups where we live.
EDITs/ADDITIONS:
I forgot Allison of BCSFrenzy’s entry when I wrote this post last nigh. She is supporting the Penn State University sponsors event called Thon, a two-day, no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon to raise money for The Four Diamonds Fund to conquer childhood cancer.
Madame Meow has suspended her famous sarcasm to bring us a deeply caring and responsible post about why she donates to the Salvation Army and Good Will.
Chris, whose whole blog is about Compassion International is joining Laura who told us about the organization in Part 3.
There are nine days left in the Generous December Group Writing Project. Are you going to send a post in?
Combined with parts one, two, three and four, this edition brings the number of entries up to 21 22 23 24. That means the amount of the donation to the winner’s favorite charity is up to $60.
