Shoes. What do you wear?

I know, it’s trivial, but I must know…
What do you wear on your feet?
All summer long I wear sandals, but as soon as it gets colder I have a problem. All autumn and winter long I am fashioned-challenged as far as footwear is concerned. Usually, I wear running shoes because they move from home office to walkies to the grocery store. Naturally, I have other shoes. Lots of them. But they are pre-motherhood shoes, climbing corporate ladder shoes, going-out on the town shoes. Totally impractical for my life now shoes.
All the other mothers in the park seem to be pulled together better than I am and I want to join the crowd.
Do you have the footwear solution?

Slip-on boots - Uggs! I live in them all winter and they’re well worth the price. And I still wear the mules if there’s no snow. I have some Eddie Bauer black slip-ons that are stylish yet rugged. I hardly have any “fancy” shoes. What’s the point right at this stage in my life LOL. I get get away with one pair of heels in black.

Barefoot whenever possible! In the winter, gosh, I have to remember now. Boots, mostly. Or just slip on shoes. I have some Eastlands that just look kinda like mules with a back. I think that’s mostly what I wear. Not exactly stylish, but they match my undone hair and my unmade face! :D

I wear two pears of shoes currently - a nice pair of really comfy dressy brown wedge sandals from Pegabo in Montreal, and my old sloppy rubbery sandals with velcro straps that I schlepped around countless places in - they are not attractive but SO comfy. I think when I go back to work in October I will have to wear something a little more professional! I have TONS of shoes like you but they have all been ‘on the shelf’ for a while.

I have the carousel’s in chestnut, which are at the bottom right of that page when I load it.
I’m still looking for something for work. Yesterday I saw a pair of Oska shoes that I loved, but they were a bit spendy. German company with three discount outlets! I love their clothes, too, and check out the model they use!! I wonder if they would make me look like the michelin man!
