Tips for Throwing a Baby Shower
For those of you planning a baby shower for yourself or someone you know here are some tips for making it go off without a hitch.
Get a date: Picking a date can be hard, but you must figure out when your guest of honor will be available as you don’t want her missing her own party. Weekends are normally a great time to host a party, but make sure to do it around a payday so everyone you invite can show up.
Location: The location is very important. While some like to have a baby shower in the home of the host others like it at the house of the guest of honor so she doesn’t go far. Still some choose to do it outdoors especially if there will be a lot of people.
Invitations: Invitations can be tricky because you want to invite all the guest of honor’s friends and family but not someone that is going to fight. But you don’t want to not invite someone that would feel hurt.
Decorations: Pink and blue are normally perfect with little naked babies or cherubs as some call them. Some like a ton of decorations while others see them pointless. Think about what you’d like and your guest. They’ll be touched at just knowing you went through all this for them.
Games: Plan some games for the event so no one gets bored. I’ve included a list of 5 Baby Shower games for you.
