Update: $1000 Baby cut From Womb

Well it seems the authorities are stating that the body in the lady’s home (Andrea Curry-Demus’ home) that brought the baby into the hospital stating she bought it for $1000 was actually of a woman. Thanks to dental records police were able to determine the woman’s name, she was Kia Johnson and she was only 18-years-old.

Kia’s body had been eviscerated and they have not yet determined if she had been pregnant and if she had if this $1000 baby was her child. They were able to see that this woman was held against her will as her hands and feet were bound by duct tape.

Early in the investigation the police were thinking the body might be that of Tina Carter when her family reported her missing, this is not the case. However it appears Andrea did know Tina and stated she showed up at her apartment with her own newborn wrapped in a towel and left. This all sounds bizarre to me, one pregnant woman that gives birth at home and leaves, another woman is left for dead and her stomach is cut open and the third who claims the baby is her own but has never given birth. As far as I can see, Tina is still unaccounted for, I hope they are still searching and not going with what this crazy lady claims. Andrea is still claiming she didn’t do anything and that child is her baby.

The baby, according to the hospital spokesperson is a little boy and he’s healthy. He will be handed over to child welfare workers soon. I do hope they find out who his mommy was and if he has any family out there that is missing him. If not may he find a very happy home.
