Update: Puppy ate Baby
This has become an even sadder story as more developments come out and charges become known. It seems that right now police are charging the 17-year-old mother, Linzy Earles of neglect. For those that are still lost, this is the case where the puppy ate the baby.
At the time of the incident, the baby was in a baby swing while mom was 65-85ft away, in another room, asleep. My question would be why were you sleeping when your baby was in a swing in another room? It appears she wasn’t alone either, her mom was in another room at her end of the house. Neither woke to hear what must’ve been a blood curdling scream from the infant, Zane, as he was being ate alive. Both grandpa and dad were out of the house before the incident occurred.
I read a few minutes ago that she is now being investigated and had to take a drug test. If the test pops positive they’ll know why she didn’t hear the baby scream. (you see why the sad case, if this turns out to be drugs) Police are currently investigating her house with sound equipment to find out if they would’ve been able to hear the baby screaming in the other rooms.
