What Was Your Baby’s First Toy?
This is a long one as I have four children and I’ll tell you each one. Maybe this will help someone out there about to go to a baby shower or looking for an item to get their own son/daughter who’s about to join their family.
Little A’s first gift was actually from his grandpa, it was a soft blue blankie with a teddy bear head. Very cute and he loved carrying that around.
SoccerBoy (he’s 11 now) got a stuffed white rabbit from one of his aunts. It was very colorful and had no hard buttons or anything, inside was a rattle so every time it moved it made a soft jingle noise.
BalletGirl received a soft rubber squek toy with a teddy bear from her big brother, Soccerboy. I made sure I took him out to go shopping and no one else was allowed to give her a gift until he did.
BabyGirl got a stuffed teddy bear from her big brother and sister. After that it was a blankie with a soft lamb head that was from my aunt that passed away.
Each child still has their first gifts, maybe a little taggered but they still have them.
